There will be plenty of spells of spooktacular fun when Sleaford Pumpkin Fest returns to the Market Place on Saturday, October 24.
North Kesteven District Council’s family-friendly Halloween celebration will run from 11am to 3pm, so dress up, bring the family, and enjoy a day full of autumnal fun and excitement.
At the centre of the event will be a fa-boo-lously fun pumpkin patch, where visitors can pick up a trail sheet and take part in the Scarecrow Business Trail.
Participants will need to spot themed scarecrows displayed in shop windows around the town centre and visit each of the below businesses taking part to collect a lettered stamp.
• Bellissimo Boutique
• Market Square Café and Restaurant
• Sleaford Funhouse
• Sleaford Library
• Chapter & Page
• Bobby’s Sweets
• Roo’s shoe repairs
Once all stamps have been collected, they can be unscrambled to reveal a hidden word and completed trail sheets can then be returned to the pumpkin patch to claim a free pumpkin, while stocks last.
The fun doesn’t stop there as there will be two sessions of circus skills workshops, plus an aerial performance, Morris Dancers, and more.
You can also snap a selfie with the Sleaford Wyvern, get your face painted (until 2pm), or enjoy playing in the garden game area.
Sleaford Library will have a themed colour sheet and competition, with prizes available for different age categories. You can take the sheet with you or take part inside the library, and the competition runs until 1pm.
In addition, there will be a plethora of stalls to browse, including:
