Civil Aviation Authority warns laser attacks on air ambulances are putting lives at risk
The UK CAA and Air Ambulances UK are warning that laser attacks are putting pilots, patients and lifesaving missions at risk, with 94 incidents involving emergency helicopters reported in 2025 and a further 35 in the first half of 2026. Jonathan Nicholson from the CAA is available for interview on Thursday to explain the dangers and how attacks can jeopardise critical missions, with regional incident figures and air ambulance spokespeople also available.

Imps sign Ogbene from Ipswich Town
Lincoln City have completed the loan signing of 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international Chiedozie Ogbene from Ipswich Town until January, adding pace, power and experience to their squad. Ogbene, who can play across the front three and at right wing-back, said he is excited to join the Imps and believes the club’s mindset and ambitions make it the right opportunity for him.

Oyegoke completes Imps move
Daniel Oyegoke has joined Lincoln City from Hellas Verona on a four-year deal, strengthening their defensive options after progressing through Arsenal, Brentford, Hearts and Verona. The 23-year-old right-back is excited to play in the Championship and believes Lincoln can have a successful season, while sporting director Jez George praised his versatility, potential and fit with the club’s recruitment profile.

Imps agree deal for Ladefoged
Lincoln City have agreed to sign Mikkel Ladefoged from Swedish top-flight side Västerås SK on a five-year contract, subject to international clearance and a work permit. The striker, who describes himself as a versatile target man, is excited to test himself in the Championship, while sporting director Jez George praised his character and determination to join Lincoln despite interest from clubs across Europe.
