We played "Found It… on Facebook Marketplace," and honestly, the things people list never cease to amaze me. This week's items were a proper mixed bag. We had a vintage Last Supper resin sculpture in very good condition, a pair of hand-knitted emotional support comfort chickens (13 inches high, 13 inches long, made with double lengths of DK wool and safety eyes), and a vintage miniature copper and brass deep sea diving helmet replica. Your job, as always, was to guess the combined listing price.
The Tuesday Total came in at £98, and I had some help in the studio today from Magna's own Olivia and Millie. Millie was the closest of the two with a guess of £106, well done her. Over on the listener side, Flat Pack Charlie absolutely nailed it with £95. A brilliant effort.
We also played Topical Tune, where I share a news story and you pick the song that best sums it up. Today's story was about a sign at an airport that simply reads "Did you leave your oven on?", apparently causing a fair bit of panic among departing holidaymakers. The song choices were brilliant across the board. Dave in Boston topped the leader board with Sophie Ellis-Bexter's "Take Me Home," which, when you think about it, is pretty perfect.
Great fun all round today. Same again tomorrow.
