What a show today. We played Found It on Facebook Marketplace, where I read out some genuine listings from around the country and you had to guess the combined total price. Today's three were a Kylie Minogue 2003 Official Calendar from Anita in Cottingham for a fiver, I mean, I've always wanted a date with Kylie so I can see the appeal. Then Lynne in Belper had a horse head mask, tried on for twenty seconds but apparently never worn, also five pounds. And finally Tara in Pontefract was shifting a rare four-foot Toy Story Woody for a hundred quid. The total came to £110, and our closest listener today was Cheryl in Boston, who guessed £102.
Chris beat Olivia, but Cheryl was right on his heels. Well played, Cheryl.
We also had the Topical Tune, where I gave you a news story and you had to suggest the best song to go with it. Today's story was about a study suggesting that extreme heatwaves could actually age your body's internal clock by up to half a year. The suggestions were brilliant. Shelly in Newark took the top spot with Johnny Hates Jazz and Turn Back The Clock, closely followed by Clive in Welton, Amanda in Lincoln, Steve in Mablethorpe, and Julie in Grantham rounding out the top five. Some really creative thinking from all of you today.
