What a brilliant show today. Found It is in full Harrods mode this week, and I have to say it's throwing up some brilliant moments already.
The idea is simple. I give you a handful of items from the Harrods Toy Department and you guess the total price tag. Today we had three to work out, a Roast and Bake Coffee Van Toy Set, a Delivery Van, and a Wooden Trike Toy. The real total came in at £150, and let me tell you, nobody was getting close to that.
I drafted in two of our own Magna team to have a go first. Lucy and Millie both gave it a shot, and while Millie was the better of the two, neither of them were anywhere near. Brilliant entertainment though, cheers girls.
Our listener closest to the real figure was Julie in Skegness, who guessed £175. Not bad at all Julie, closest we had all day.
Then it was over to the Topical Tune, where I give you a news story and you suggest the song that best sums it up. Today's story was about the World Conker Championships possibly being cancelled because a hot summer has left Britain's chestnuts looking a bit sorry for themselves. The suggestions that came in were genuinely brilliant, from Harry in Mablethorpe all the way through to Cheryl in Lincoln taking the top spot with Blink 182's All The Small Things. Couldn't argue with that one.
