I walked into work this morning, all five miles of it, and my route took me past the old Lincs FM building. It's a derelict site now, which gave me a moment to reflect as I made my way into Magna.
Once I got in, we got straight into Found It, and today the question was all about numbers. How many minutes in a professional boxing round? How many planets in our solar system? And what's the maximum half-time interval in rugby union? The answers were 3, 8 and 15, giving a total of 26.
Two of our own Magna staff, Lucy and Olivia, had a go today and let's just say there was a bit of laughter in the building when it turned out they thought a boxing round lasted somewhere between 12 and 15 minutes. Lucy was the closest of the two, to be fair to her. Several listeners nailed the total of 26 though, so well done to Julie in Skegness, Wendy Scott, Dawn Roberts and John in Cleethorpes.
Then it was over to Topical Tune, and the story today was Katie Price apparently ending her marriage by text after finding out her husband had just £2.22 in his account. Your song suggestions were brilliant. Mark the window cleaner went with Kanye West's Gold Digger, Paula in Lincoln chose Gwen Guthrie's Ain't Nothing Going On But The Rent, and Steve in Grimsby topped the lot with Madonna's Material Girl. Brilliant stuff.
