What a way to kick off a Friday! Free Food Friday got its first winner today, in partnership with Lawson's Bar and Bistro, and it went to a very deserving family. Alison from Lincoln won the meal, and when she told me why she was going to use it, I thought it was just lovely. Her daughter and son-in-law have just come back after five years based at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, so the family are planning a proper get-together to welcome them home. Brilliant. That's exactly what Free Food Friday is all about.
One Moment In Time took us back to 2002 this week. A big year as it turns out. Gainsborough's riverside redevelopment was completed, and a young lad called Will Young went and won Pop Idol. Not a bad year all round.
And the Mystery Voice has been solved! This week's answer was Gabrielle, and it was Helen in Washingborough who cracked it. Well done Helen, you're in the Hall of Fame now.
